I've been watching 's stream recently while working as he's animating his own rendition of a Gravity Falls sequence.  In learning his process, I've decided I wanted Anime Studio to attempt to emulate his process.. but not at the $100 price tag.   Well, Clip Studio is the digital version of Anime Studio and it's on sale for 70% off.  (15 bucks total) and this software is coooool.

I would have posted later after testing it more to drop more info but the sale is only on for another 3 days so I figure I'd get word out first and worry about any details later.

I haven't been having fun drawing lately so I haven't been doing it really at all.  All I have is my own skull for trivia and doubts to bounce around, so I've gotta change that.
Are there any hot spots around the net where people draw with others?  Network oC with hamachi used to be fun until I couldn't connect to anyone's oC anymore.

Not even trying for titles anymore.  I'm sliding artwork around a timeline for the next Rick and Morty in a month. While in the meantime, just starting to help out another studio part-time on their show Pirate Express.  Gonna run the Terry Fox 10K in a week aaaand with luck, breathing will remain an automatic body reflex.  

However since I can't, it looks like I might be animating on Rick and Morty.  Gotta look over the contract though.  I was trying to nail down a 2D game animation/illustration gig, but it's hit the point where everything's maxed and have no more time to wait.  Gots to chip away at some debt as I never grew up knowing how to choke out mountain lions to defend myself.  I need to go to a punk show sometime.  Quite sick of ramen noodles.  I should build a recording booth in my closet.  I have no use for a recording booth in my closet.  Having many months without work has been amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone, everywhere, always.

6. I was playing with an x-acto knife trying to cut duct tape foolishly swiping at the tape horizontally while letting the roll dangle.  I was entranced at how fast it was pouring out from such a small cut.
7. My mom walked in a mere 20 seconds after I sliced my fingers.   She freaked thinking I was cutting myself while looking at a growing pool of blood in my cupped hands.  I was 14.  I laughed.
8. I loved Earthworm Jim on SNES because you could pause the game with no menu blocking the way.  I would draw the background and characters if something funny was happening.  EWJ's blasted crows look hilarious.  I also drew many of the idle animation frames.
9. I have impeccable pecs.
10. I feel most insulted when people start conversations with me, then send 1 response per 5 minutes.  If they are distracted or unable to continue; excusing one's self from the conversation is highly respectable and very appreciated.
